Jersey Woollys are a small breed rabbit with a compact body type.
Due to their bold and wide heads, these rabbits are often affectionately referred to as "Mug Heads". They have a life span of 8 to 10 years. Despite having a long coat they are quite maintenance free due to the long guard hairs in their coat, however that is not to say that they will not enjoy a good grooming. These rabbits are very affectionate and playful, most have friendly personalities and as pets they range from laid-back lap bunnies to outgoing explorers. They are easily litter box trained with time and patience and will enjoy being cuddled and played with by their owner.
They reach an adult weight of 1.1 - 1.6kgs.
It is important to ensure that your Jersey Woolly eats plenty of good quality eragrostis or other nutritional dried grass to prevent wool block.
